Stylish, chrome vertical radiators suited to any contemporary bathroom. Manufactured with care, the core frame of our Tambora vertical radiator has been constructed with steel to provide a sturdy base on which to lay the secondary metals. We have chosen to add three layers of copper onto the steel; after this, an additional layer of nickel has been set. These metals have been chosen as they provide an excellent barrier against the formation of rust. This is an important requisite given the high humidity environment of most bathrooms. Finally, to finish, the radiator is completed with an exquisite layer of chrome.

These sleek radiators have been constructed for comfort, and come in two large sizes suited to an open bathroom environment. Tambora radiators are 1800mm in height and depending on the space available to you; you have the option of a four panel (300mm width) or five panel (376mm width) radiator. However, the luxurious and contemporary design of our Tambora vertical radiators mean that they are not just restricted to the bathroom and can be seamlessly transported to other rooms in the house.

Please be aware that only angled valves are compatible with these vertical towel radiators, and so you can choose the style you need from the BathEmpire range. We are so confident with the quality of our heated towel rails that we supply a ten year warranty on as standard.

How do you know the amount of BTU that you will need?

The BTU translates as the British Thermal Unit. The higher the BTU figure, the higher the heat output. Generally, for smaller rooms, a BTU output of 900 – 1200 is ideal, while for medium and larger rooms, you would need to aim for a BTU output of around 1500 to over 2000.
