Especially suited to any traditionally styled bathrooms fittings, the Victoria traditional radiators will complement any antique look.
While the look may be traditional, the method of manufacture utilises modern methods. We wanted the towel radiators to last a long time, and so ensured they are manufactured with care. To form the core of the radiator, the frame is constructed with steel. This has then been coated with three consecutive layers of copper, then an additional layer of nickel. These metals have been chosen for the traditional Victoria heated towel tails as they offer excellent resistance to rust. Finally, the radiators are finished in a thick layer of chrome.
There are an array of styles you can choose, from wall hanging to floor standing varieties, and even fully chromed radiators. The layout of the plumbing in your house will dictate whether you will have to choose straight or angled valves. If the pipework extends from the floor, you will need straight valves. If you connect to the central heating system through pipes running behind the wall, then you will need angled valves. Any of the traditional radiator valves can be combined with the traditional heated towel rails.
How do you know the amount of BTU that you will need?
The BTU translates as the British Thermal Unit. The higher the BTU figure, the higher the heat output. Generally, for smaller rooms, a BTU output of 900 – 1200 is ideal, while for medium and larger rooms, you would need to aim for a BTU output of around 1500 to over 2000.
