Towel Radiator 10 Year Warranty
We want you to enjoy your new towel radiator. We want you to love the playful designs and be confident that it will last a long time.
For that to happen, the choice of materials our manufacturers use is vital.
3 stage coating
The core material in all BathEmpire towel radiators is low carbon steel. This material is easy to manipulate, allowing us to create some intriguing designs.
Low carbon steel is the most common material used in all household radiators. However, to be sure we can offer a 10 year warranty, we treat this durable material to an additional, specially devised 3 stage coating process.
The first stage involves applying 3 coats of copper. Because copper resists the corrosive qualities of water, this helps to rust proof the radiator.
At the second stage a layer of nickel is added. Nickel has similar rust resistant properties to copper, but we use it in addition because it acts as a fantastic base to apply Chrome.
40 micron Chrome Plating
On top of the Nickel we apply, a coating of Chrome, 60 microns thick. This gives your radiators a stunning mirror finish.

Hand Inspection
Once assembled and coated, each radiator will be inspected by hand.
Any imperfections will be spotted and the radiator will be rejected.
Pressure Tested
Lastly, before packing, each radiator is pressure tested.
Your towel radiators will have been tested up to 15bar of pressure. This is considerably higher than the average household's 1 - 2bar.
